Morning Mummers so I have this issue i really don't know what to do so i would like you to help me make up my mind on this one ...
I hired a girl at work (NOTE: I'm just the trainer and Hiring assistant for my boss she approves the hire before I call the person.) So she Tells me to hire this girl no biggie i get her trained the first week she is there. I'm thinking great she should do well she picks up on her work quick. She has been there a total of 4 weeks as of last Saturday. Now this is where I have the problem out of those 4 weeks she has called in every Saturday and been late 4 times. So My boss fired Her...due to the fact that she called in on another Saturday. The problem that I'm having is she left with valuble company property and I am in charge of retrieving it. I have called her 4 times on the matter and she has told me she would bring it in ,yet she hasn't .
My MUMM Question for the day is this : Should I Call the Cops to Retrieve Property or Try calling her a few more times and give her another chance to bring it in?
NOTE:she is my friend but i believe there is a line between friends and Buisness. help me out guys |
