| I'm a foster mom for homeless cats and kittens through the local Pet Rescue that need permanent adoption. I have two cats of my own and I usually take in one foster cat at a time. I currently have "Tori" an adorable 16 month old Tuxedo cat. This is the 2nd time I've fostered her. She does not do well (behavior problems) at the shelter but is an angel at my house and gets along well with my cats. Problem is, it has gotten increasingly difficult to catch her each week to take her to the Rescue. She usually hides or takes off running when it's time to go. It's like she KNOWS she's going to "the cage" and would rather just hang out at my house. It's been suggested that I just adopt her. If I do that, I will definitely not have room to foster any more cats ever againn my tiny condo. But if I adopt her, I won't have to put her through this traumatic ordeal every week for goodness knows how long until an adoption happens and she can remain good company to my other cats and settle into my household for good. What should I do? |
