I went to get lunch to go today at a local bagel place. Ive only been there a few times, each time the place was empty or had one other person in there. Today, I ordered my usual yummy Tuna Melt, paid and waited. In the meantime, I witnessed possibly the most unprofessional crew of workers I have ever seen at a place of business. In the space of 15 minutes, I observed:
1) Two women looking at and commenting on a Playboy, flipping pages open on the counter, communicating loudly the guys in the kitchen about the skin pics.
2) One woman came from the kitchen to look at the mag, kicked her shoe off, scratched the sole of her foot, put her shoe back on and went directly back into the kitchen.
3) Profanity and graphic, detailed talk regarding the specifics of the pics.
4) Detailed discussion of how they were intending to soon concoct a killer drink for the Manager called a Black B*tch, main ingredients being Diet Coke and Vodka--for reasons unknown.
God knows, I'm far from being a prude, but I was really shocked that this was how they were behaving in a place of business and am not sure I would go back.
Should I:
a) Call the Manager and tip him off to his unprofessional staff which may be hurting his business? OR.
b) Make my own kick-ass Tuna Melts and never go back again.
