So I've been told I was wrong here. What do you think fu?

Back story:
Today is my son's birthday. Yesterday I went to pick up cupcakes for in school today before going to help the bf. He said I should have went over to his house and helped him unload his car before picking them up. He didn't wait and did it alone. I then told him my brake light was on and I had an appointment to get them done today. This took 65 minutes total. Rather then wait, he chose to have dinner without us.

Knowing this.. am I wrong for staying home and being mad at his attitude?
