Been brutally cold here. It's 19 outside and snowing. So far we have 7.5 inches of snow since this morning. Net also keep crashing..lmao.
Just popped in for a minit. Dealing with a severe kidney infection. On antibiotics again for the zillionth time.
Life is great. My son is in jail for threatening to kill his sister. Felony with no bail.
So my son decided that I needed to get out of the house yesterday so we went to wal mart. I lasted 10 minutes and planted my happy ass at Mc Donalds and told him come get me when your done. My lungs still have not fully recovered yet
Sorry I have not been on. Just got out of the hospital. I had bi lateral pneumonia. My son took me to the er saturday night with fever.
My doctor called today and told me the culture they took from my toe came back showing its infected so now i am on a 15 day does of antibiotics and have to stay off my foot until my next appointment next tuesday.
Went to my wound dr. He had to remove the toe nail on my big toe on my left foot. I stubbed it a couple weeks ago and it was not healing right. In a lot of pain and he told me to stay off my foot for a couple days. 2 steps forward and 5 steps back.
Had PT today and walked from my kitchen table to the refrigerator but couldn't make it back to the table without the crutches. That is a great accomplishment for me
Went to PT this morning, They put my lymphedema wraps on my legs. They are starting to have me take a couple of steps without crutches. Therapist said they are going to take it slow, baby steps first. Did ok but legs are still very weak.
Got my special leg wraps today and on Monday my therapist will put them on . I will start slowly with walking with out the crutches. Hopefully in a couple of months I will be back to normal.
Love the weather in Arkansas. Today was 94 and it was raining with thunder and lightning. Humidity is a bitch though, temp 94 with 95% humidity. You can actually sit outside and not have to worry about getting shot on your own property. I heard gas is 5.27 a gal in california. We pay 2.17 here. I talk to people there every day and they tell me its not the state I left which I know is true.
Does this wacky weather ever quit? First a tornado and now the Arkansas river is flooding. Several roads are closed and many businesses closed because they are under water. Thank God I live way up yonder on a hill. More severe storms coming tomorrow.
