I'm single now, after 33 years of marriage my wife passed away November 2005. It has been a ruff road, I still miss her, but I know I must move on.Things I love to do is write. Poetry being one.here's an example...OppressionIcicle whiskeyTranslucent quivers receding into a closed mind, No opposition presented, only heed to consequence Following in step with promise.Is there suffering? Here it washes upon the sand in waves of unri­valed calm.An aimless sewage deluded by black and white, devoid of wanting, full of flavor.Faces in the placid water.Ripples of remembrance trace stillness through the air. What hope is near them will ever call too subtle?When felt by ice, by fire, by fear. All faced with empty longing silent and waiting Only time tells the sullen sorrow. Leaves may fall, but lost are the shades of memory Gates of stone holding a hollow knowing, pulling closer to fate.The whispers grow louder by the hands of a shadow Will voices rise and fall together,Or will the current forever carry them to a certain solitude. A forged and unforgiving prison.I'm full of hope these days, maybe I'll find someone new and interesting.I'm not into sports, well I do enjoy auto sports, and wouldn't mind a romp in the bed *blush*I love the movies, Action, horror and Science fiction, got to get that old blood flowing, Ahhh yes, romance too!!!I live in the mountains, ok a city in the mountains, love the great outdoors. my faviorite lake is called Starvation.Great place for enjoying nature.
