American Soldiers
The year was 1969 when 60,000 Americans stood and said
I am a American Soldier,
I will give my life to save a life
For this is my job
I wll not fear my enemy for he will not fear me
If I should die,my job shall be complete
Now I move on to heaven to become a soldier of god
For he will take me in to help keep the peace in all of heaven

36 years later, soldiers are still pows and MIA
But we remember them to this day
They gave their life so we could be free

34 years after the Vietnam war 1500 americans gave thier life so we could remain free
Each one stood and said

I will give my life to save a life
For this is my job

Now I move on to heaven to become a soldier of god
For he will take me in to help keep the peace in all of heaven

Each American who gave their life will never be forgotten
200,000 Marines Soldiers, Air Men, and sailors we're deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq
And every day we all pray they come back
