| I have a 16 year old daughter, almost 17, I had to take her father to court because he wasnt meeting me for my visitation time. My daughter decided she wanted to come live with me. So i filed for custody. We live 2/12 hrs away from eachother. The judge gave me custody and switched the summer visation for her to be with her father. While at her fathers she met a boy. (her first boyfriend) whom she likes very much. and her best friend lives there too. Now she is telling me she wants to stay in saginaw and finish the 2 years she has left. She does not want to live with me and says she will not go to school here. Her father took me to court again and the judge said custody is not going to be changed everytime she changes her mind. So the judge made her come with me. She wrote me a letter yesterday and has been crying, she is very close with her best friend and dosent want to leave schools. I feel really bad I dont want to see her hurting, I asked her before this all started if this was what she really wanted because I would be going through alot to get custody and she said yes. I recently moved so that I had a bigger place so she could have her own room. I feel really bad though she is really upset and does not want to go to school here and does not want to leave her friends. Im so confused. |
