| What i want to know is if i am in the wrong for this situation. Over christmas time i borrowed 1000 dollars off of my brother. I was told i would give him back 1200 dollars which is 200 dollars interest. I dont agree with charging a family member interest but whatever. So one month goes by and i give him back the thousand dollars he lent me no problem(this was the first week in february). Well last week he tells me that he is leaving for Italy this week March 9th and that he could really use that last 200 dollars. Well this really burnt me the wrong way, even though i did agree too it. I just paid my cable and electric bill and even paid my rent three days late. Just like everyone else in this economy money is tight for me as well. Then he hits me with this 200 dollar crap. All i can see is images of him and his girlfriend in Italy eating a 150 dollar meal. So what im asking is: Is it wrong to charge a family member interest? |
