Okay so after a long and interesting debate last night with Several people including one rather rude woman felt Soldiers have no right in say about how things happen. Now as a Soldier I agree that we have no place in politics but i still think we have a right in our feelings.
I know we have all taken the oath to protect and uphold the flag and the government under that flag but when our own government becomes corrupt should the power under the very flag we protect question that government?
I don't know maybe i am the odd Soldier out and i should maybe shut my mouth. But don't get me wrong because i have always followed orders even if i didn't always agree with them. I am a Soldier in the end and a Soldier follows his orders. However at the same time a good Soldier knows the differance between a sound order and an insane one. So anyways in the end do we have the right to have our opinion or no? |
